A 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training
Nine Months • Three Communities • Three Teachers • One Collective Pathway
The Collective Pathway is a unique 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training designed for teachers who are ready to deepen their practice, expand their teaching, and explore yoga as a lifelong pathway of study, service, self-awareness, and connection.
This nine-month journey brings together three experienced yoga teachers from three different communities, creating an opportunity to learn through diverse perspectives, teaching styles, traditions, and lived experiences.
Rather than learning from a single teacher or studio, you will travel through Kirksville, Missouri; Hannibal, Missouri; and Quincy, Illinois, experiencing the richness that comes from learning within different yoga communities.

A Journey, Not Just a Certification
The Collective Pathway is designed for teachers who recognize that becoming a yoga teacher is not the end of the journey.
It is an invitation to keep asking:
Who am I becoming?
How am I serving?
What does it mean to live my yoga?
How can my practice become a pathway for connection, awareness, and transformation?
This training creates space for both advanced study and personal exploration.
You will not simply collect more tools for teaching yoga. You will be invited to examine the teacher behind the teaching and continue developing the awareness, discernment, humility, curiosity, and presence required to guide others.

Emily Trevathan, E-RYT
Twisted Juniper Yoga — Hannibal, Missouri
Twisted Juniper Yoga — Hannibal, Missouri
Emily Trevathan, E-RYT 500 Emily Trevathan discovered yoga in 2000 and knew almost immediately that she wanted to share the practice—and its many benefits—with others. What began as a personal journey has grown into more than two decades of study, teaching, and exploration of the many ways yoga can support the whole person.
After moving to Denver in 2007, Emily immersed herself in the city’s vibrant yoga community. In 2008, she completed her initial teacher training at Samadhi Center for Yoga and became a certified yoga instructor. Since then, she has continued to expand her education through specialized trainings in Pre- and Postnatal Yoga, Yoga for Children and Teens, YogaED, Chakra Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Chair Yoga.
Emily’s teaching and personal practice have continued to evolve beyond asana. In 2020, she entered the world of sound meditation and earned a Certificate in Sonic Massage–Level 1 through the Center of Sound. She offers private sound sessions and monthly Full Moon Sound Healing Meditations, incorporating sound, vibration, breath, and meditation to create opportunities for deep rest and connection.
In 2024, Emily completed her 500-hour Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training through the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, deepening her understanding of the relationship between yoga, Ayurveda, daily wellness, and individualized care. In 2025, she completed Reiki Levels 1 and 2 and began her studies in Pelvic Floor Yoga. She is currently continuing her education toward certification as a Pelvic Floor Yoga Teacher.
As the owner and lead instructor of Twisted Juniper Yoga in Hannibal, Missouri, Emily teaches Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Chair, Pre- and Postnatal Yoga, and yoga for children and teens. She also offers private sessions designed to meet individual wellness goals and needs.
Emily believes yoga is not a one-size-fits-all practice. She is passionate about creating an environment where every person feels welcome, supported, and empowered to explore what their body and mind need. Her teaching is grounded in kindness, curiosity, gratitude, and the belief that yoga can meet us wherever we are—and help us feel a little more connected when we leave.

Domingo Yoga — Quincy, Illinois
Domingo Yoga — Quincy, Illinois
Emely is the owner and lead instructor at Domingo. For more than 14 years, she has had the privilege of teaching yoga and creating spaces where people can move, breathe, connect, and simply be themselves.
She believes movement can be powerful medicine—not because we need to change or fix ourselves, but because movement gives us another way to connect with our bodies, our emotions, and the world around us. Her approach to yoga is playful, intuitive, accessible, and deeply influenced by her love of somatic practices, mental health, nature, and community.
Domingo grew from Emely’s desire to create the kind of space she wanted to exist in her own community: welcoming and open to people in all seasons of life. The person who is brand new to yoga. The busy parent or caregiver. The person whose brain rarely slows down. Someone navigating a new beginning, a loss, or a transition. Older adults who want to keep moving. People who want to feel stronger, more grounded, or simply less alone.
Emely especially loves finding ways to make movement accessible. Some days that looks like a sweaty, playful vinyasa flow; other days it’s chair yoga, mindful movement, a walk through the woods, paddle boarding, breathwork, or simply taking a moment to notice what’s happening around us.
Outside of Domingo, Emely is pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Quincy University. Her interests include somatic and movement-based approaches, ecotherapy, creative arts counseling, trauma-informed care, and the connection between mental health and the natural world. She is also a Certified Nature Connection Specialist and loves facilitating experiences that invite people to slow down and reconnect with nature.
Beyond all the titles and certifications, Emely is a mom of three who feels most like herself outdoors. Give her sunshine, bare feet in the grass, a hiking trail, a paddle board, dancing, live music, flowing water, or a really good wind chime, and she is at peace and joyful.
